Let’s Get to Work is Manitoba’s premiere conference for career development professionals. The conference brings together career development professionals from across Manitoba to learn, grow, and share new and innovative practices in career development. Come learn and network with career professionals from across the country.

This years theme is “Career Development’s Innovative & Visionary Solutions to Complex Challenges".

This year we have both the all day conference as well as a unique pre-conference training being held in addition to the conference. This is an opportunity to connect and reflect the day before the conference. 

This additional training session is being held November 2nd from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm and is devoted to you and supporting the work you do everyday as a career development professional. In our time together, we’ll reconnect with our expertise and value, digging into the competencies and scope of practice that underpins the delivery of a meaningful career development process.

We will identify some of the day-to-day situations that are the toughest in our work and, together, we’ll explore how to assess our own capacity, access practical tools and approaches, and mobilize our expertise. Finally, acknowledging the pressures and stresses inherent in much of our work, we’ll share strategies for self-care, setting boundaries, and building resilience. Come to share your wisdom, open your mind to new approaches, learn from each other, and refill your cup. Small fee will be applied.
